Ali Larter was born Alison Elizabeth Larter, on February 28, 1976. She comes from Chery Hill, New Jersey and is the daughter of a homemaker mom and a father who was a trucking executive. She is a graduate of Cherry Hill High School West.
At 14 she was signed to Ford Models and quickly started modeling all around the world. This 34 year old may have started her career in modeling, but she quickly shifted her focus to acting. Her acting career started in 1999 when she got the part of Darcy in a teenage film called "Varsity Blues", opposite Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek. In the movie she had an infamous scene where she came out wearing nothing but whipped cream. Since "Varsity Blues" Larter hasn't stopped working. Some of her early work includes parts in teen movies such as "Drive me Crazy" (1999) and "Giving It Up" (1999) as well as "Final destination" (2000), "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" (2001), "Legally Blonde" (2001), and "Final Destination 2" (2003). "Final Destination" and "Legally Blonde" were hits at the box office and only secured Larter's working status in Hollywood.
Since then she has starred in the thriller "Three Way" (2004), where she was also an associate producer, "A Lot Like Love" (2005), "Resident Evil: Extinction" (2007) and has been on the popular TV series "Heroes" since 2006. Recently she could be seen in the movie "Obsessed" (2009), with Beyonce and can be expected to return to her role as Claire in "Resident Evil: Afterlife".
She has been voted one of the sexiest and most beautiful women many times, by numerous men's magazines such as FHM and Maxim. She is currently living in Los Angeles. In 2009, after seven years of dating she married her boyfriend Hayes MacArthur, a fellow actor.
